Women's Basketball Routs Fontbonne

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The women's basketball team avenged an earlier loss as they topped Fontbonne 81-58 on Saturday. Miranda Murray came off the bench to score a game-high 19 points.

The Lady Panthers hit 11-of-20 three pointers in the contest, led by 4-of-5 performances by Murray and Whitney Vitt.

Coley Baker was two points and an assist shy of her second triple double as she posted a stat line of eight points, 12 rebounds, and nine assists. She also had six blocked shots.

Vitt and Emily Gundy put in 14 points a piece, while teammate Missy Deal had 12 points.

The women's basketball team (9-13, 6-9 SLIAC) host Spalding on Thursday at 6 p.m.
