Women's Basketball Stumbles Against MacMurray

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The women's basketball team relinquished a 12-point halftime advantage as they were defeated by MacMurray 63-59 on Saturday. Missy Deal was strong with 14 points and 13 rebounds in the game.
It was a tale of two halves for Greenville as the Lady Panthers shot better than 50 percent in the first half but shot less than 25 percent in the second half. Greenville held a 39-27 halftime advantage.
Taylor Paulin and Coley Baker both put in 12 points for Greenville with Baker adding four steals and three blocked shots. Emily Gundy and Jamie Schollenbruch passed out three assists each.
The Lady Panthers (4-10, 1-6 SLIAC) travel to Iowa Wesleyan Wednesday for a contest at 6 p.m.
