BOURBONNAIS, Ill. -- The women's cross country team earned seventh place at Olivet Nazarene as sophomore Brooke Goodyear finished the five kilometer race in 19:57 for 32nd place.

Molly Works closed her gap between Goodyear as she had a 20:07 for 35th place. Works ran 1:14 faster than she did three weeks ago on the same course.

"Brooke and Molly did nice job of leading us out," said head coach Brian Patton.

A trio of freshman turned in Greenville's third through fifth place marks.

Sheridan Noll was the first Greenville freshman to finish with a 20:52 for 52nd place.

Katie Hermann was 65th in 21:13, and Shirley Estes was close behind with a time of 21:21 for 67th.

Greenville's No. 3-7 runners accounted for a 30 second spread.

The women earned 251 points for Greenville, and they finished fourth of NCAA Division III schools. The University of Chicago took the team title with 28 points.

The Lady Panthers will take a week off, and they return to competition on Friday, Oct. 16, at Bradley.
