Women's volleyball keeps rolling in SLIAC

CARLINVILLE, Ill. -- The women's volleyball team earned another pair of wins, defeating Blackburn in three games and taking a five game win against Webster on Saturday.

Savannah Sells gave the Lady Panthers 10 kills, one service ace, and two block assists against Blackburn as Greenville hit at a clip over 31 percent in its first match.

Greenville won 25-15, 27-25, 25-7 in the contest.

The second match was perhaps a preview of future conference tournament play as Greenville won 25-22, 25-27, 16-25, 25-15, 15-7 against Webster.

Sells and Allyson Mitchell each posted 18 kills in the match.

Jamie Schollenbruch produced 26 digs, and Kirsten Laune had 62 assists.

The Lady Panthers (10-5, 6-0 SLIAC) travel to Eureka on Tuesday.
