GREENVILLE, Ill. - Relying on balanced scoring and a full team effort, the women's basketball team outdistanced Hendrix Friday, as they slid past the Warriors 63-61 in their first game of tournament action.

The second half proved to be a balanced attack from the Lady Panthers as three players reached double digit scoring. Sophomore center Katelyn Wise posted 13 points, five boards, and two blocks as the Panthers sealed the 63-61 victory.

The Warriors of Hendrix were led by senior guard Christina Byler who had a game high 16 points in only 14 minutes of play.
