Women's Basketball Falls to Webster 83-71

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The women's basketballteam was defeated by Webster83-71 on Saturday afternoon. Greenville was led in scoring by Emmalee Fladland with 14 points.

Three other Lady Panthers were in double-digit scoring as well. Stacey Lawrence had 12 and was 4-of-7 from behind the arc, Laura Hobbie put in 12, and Katelyn Wise had 10 points in the loss.

Ieisha Adams was Greenville's leader in assists with10, and Linda Morris led the team with five rebounds. Fladland and Lawrence both had an impressive four steals in the game.

Greenville's team defense forced Webster into 21 turnovers but had 25 turnovers themselves offensivelywhich hurt them in the end.

The Lady Panthers are 9-6 on the year and 4-4 in SLIAC play. They will try and rebound off this loss next Wednesday night at Blackburn College with a 6 p.m. tipoff.
