Women's Basketball Improves to 9-5 with 20-Point Victory Over MacMurray

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The women's basketball team was a 76-56 winner over MacMurray Wednesday night. Greenville used the scoring efforts of five Lady Panthers who scored 10 or more points, led by Julia Hale with 15.

Emmalee Fladland and Anna Yardy both chipped in with 12, Stacey Lawrence had 11, and Laura Hobbie contributed 10. Fladland was Greenville's leader in assists with six and Hobbie led the team with four steals. Ieisha Adams and Yardy both had an impressive nine rebounds.

Greenville's team defense was solid as they forced MacMurray to 17 turnovers with 12 of them being steals.

The Lady Panthers improved to 9-5 on the year and 4-3 in SLIAC play. They will try and build off of the win as they host Webster on Saturday with a 1 p.m. tipoff.
