Women’s Basketball Tops MacMurray On The Road 56-43

JACKSONVILLE, Ill. The women's basketball team grabbed another key victory Saturday as they grinded out the tough conference win in Jacksonville, overcoming MacMurray College 56-43. The Lady Panthers were led by guards Ieisha Adams and Stacey Lawrence who both netted 10 points in the decision.

Sophomore center Katelyn Wise also aided Greenville in the winning effort, contributing nine points and seven boards in only nine minutes of play.

With the win, the womens basketball team moved to 12-8 overall and 6-6 in SLIAC play. They currently sit at the six spot in conferenceand need to move to fifthto keep their hopes of post-season play alive.

The Lady Pantherswill resume action on Mondayas they travel to Eureka College to take on the Lady Red Devils in what was a previously postponed game that willstart at 6 p.m.
