Women's Hoops Starts Season 1-0 in SLIAC

ELASH, Ill.-- The Lady Panthers start SLIAC play with a 65-38 win over Principia in their first Conference game of the season.
Emily Gundy, Laura Hobbie, and Katelyn Wise were Greenville's top scorers in the game, combining toadd 33to the team's 65 total points.Hobbie recorded 4 offensive rebounds as well.
In the back court, Ieisha Adams and Kayla Hyde led the team, with Adams making 9 steals and Hyde totaling 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
The Lady Panthers had an impressive 85% free throw average, capitalizing on 17 of their 20 attempts at the line.
Principia was led by Sarah Corbitt, who scored a total of 12 points, and Karina Olsen, who tallied 11 rebounds and 2 blocks.
This victory brings GC'srecordto 4-1 (1-0 SLIAC). Their next game is Saturday, Dec. 1 against Webster at 1:00pm.
