The Lady Panthers Tennis team played their last game of the season today, as they took on Westminster in the last round of the SLIAC Tournament. They lost 2-7, ending their season fourth in Conference.

In singles play, Kristen Lynch was the sole Panther victor, winning her match with an impressive score of 6-1, 6-1. Kim Minshall also played with outstanding determination, taking her match to a tie-breaker. Unfortunatetly, she could not pull off the win and lost 3-6, 6-3 (6-10).

Lynch brought her stellar work ethic into her doubles play when she joined teammate Chelsie Evans in the No. 3 doubles spot. The duo battled it outto earn themselves a 8-4 win over their Westminster opponents.

The Lady Panthers end their season with a record of 5-10 (3-3 SLIAC). The young team expects to continue improvingand come back next year as a team to be feared. The team will undoubtedly feel the loss of seniors Katie Maurer and Kim Minshall, but hope to develop their younger players and earn a spot as SLIAC frontrunners in the seasons to come.
