New Student Orientation
Below are some key dates and times that may assist you in planning your first week as a Greenville University student!
New Student Orientation (NSO) is required for all new students—transfers and freshmen, on-campus students and commuters. During NSO you will have the first few sessions of your UNIV 101 or THEO 310 class, get settled in your residence hall room, and begin to make connections with your classmates that will last for the rest of your life.
NSO 2018 will begin with Residence Hall Check-In at 9 AM on Friday, August 24. Because the weekend will be full of required activities, you should plan to get here early to get settled in your room. Students living off-campus should plan to arrive no later than noon to check in and get lunch before the afternoon activities begin.
Parents are encouraged to participate in Friday's NSO activities. We will have informational sessions and activities designed especially for parents and family members that accompany new students to campus.
Again, NSO is required, so you need to make plans to attend. If you have specific questions or concerns about the schedule, please contact your admissions counselor at (800) 345-4440.
