Women’s Tennis Completes 9-0 Sweep of Fontbonne

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – GC women’s tennis (2-5, 1-0 SLIAC) opened conference play on Monday as they battled the ladies of Fontbonne University. The Lady Panthers cruised to the victory, blanking Fontbonne 9-0 for their second win of the season.

Greenville’s Jaime Harling controlled Fontbonne’s Maggie Pohl in #1 singles play with a final decision of 6-2, 6-1 to lead the the Lady Panthers to a 6-0 flight record on the day.

Doubles also rolled 3-0 as the #1, #2, and #3 teams collected victories of 8-3, 8-6, and 8-0 respectively.

Greenville women’s tennis will next take the court on Thursday, March 31, as they look to defend the Scott Burgess Tennis Complex against the Lady Bluejays of Westminster.
