Women's Tennis Can't Top Edgewood

HILTON HEAD, S.C.-- The GC Lady Panthers Kristen Lynch and Lexi Baysinger both won their matches to get Greenville on the board, but the team could not overtake Edgewood and lost 7-2.

Lynch soundly defeated her #2 opponent with set scores of 6-2, 6-2. Baysinger, who played in the #3 spot, earned a stong victory with scores of 6-1, 6-0.

This match brings the team's record to 2-2. The team will compete again in Hilton Head later today as they take on Heidelberg to continue their Spring Break trip.
