Women's basketball knocks off Millikin

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The women's basketball team picked up a solid 77-62 victory over Millikin on Saturday to earn a split of its opening tournament. Taylor Paulin and Coley Baker teamed up to give Greenville 48 of its points, as Paulin led all scorers with 27 points and Baker added 21.
Missy Deal chipped in 12 points.
Greenville was led in the rebounding column by Baker's seven caroms, and she also produced seven blocked shots.
Claire Schmitt passed out five assists.
The Lady Panthers (2-1) travel to Lincoln Christian on Tuesday for a game at 5:30 p.m.
