Scholarship Day attracts prospective students to GU campus

Dozens of prospective students were welcomed to the Greenville University campus recently for the school’s annual Scholarship Day.

At that event, the students interviewed for various scholarships, learned more about opportunities and activities available to them at GU, and heard presentations from university officials.

Faculty and staff who participated in Scholarship Day said they were very impressed by the students they met and interviewed throughout the day.

The day was cut short by a heavy afternoon snowstorm, but nonetheless was termed a success by Chief Enrollment Officer Victoria Clark, who is shown talking with a parent with President Suzanne Davis in the picture below.

“Despite the weather, the students and their parents had a wonderful time,” Clark said. “An event like this takes an entire campus to pull off. Thanks to all who participated for being a blessing to me, the admissions team, and our future Panthers!”
