CampusReel democratizes the school search process by crowdsourcing tens of thousands of student-made videos from hundreds of university campuses. CampusReel is working with Rice Business to help share authentic and honest video capturing campus life.
As an on-campus Content Creator, you will record at least 4 videos that document different aspects of your daily life on campus for the benefit of students applying to college. Our team will train you on video and vlog fundamentals, teach you best practices, and review your work with feedback.
You do not need to know how to edit videos - just submit the clips we ask for, and CampusReel will pay you $150, with the opportunity to earn more if you like the job!
Through this flexible, part-time role, you will learn valuable and transferable videography and storytelling skills that can help you sell your ideas in future. If you are interested in boosting the marketing experience on your resume, you may be especially interested.
This opportunity is an on-campus position open to all current students. You should have access to campus and the surrounding area.

Time Commitment:

15 minutes for account creation and short online training

Clips don’t take long to record, but it may take around 15-30 minutes to plan, record, and upload your shots.

Overall, we’re looking at 3-4 hours of your time, maximum.
Compensation: $150 for uploading material for 4 videos, paid via electronic gift card. Letter of recommendation happily provided upon request.
