Pre-Nursing Curriculum

Pre-Nursing Curriculum at Greenville University

Greenville University’s pre-nursing is a part of a partnership with St. John’s School of Nursing, Saint Louis University School of Nursing, or Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville (SIU-E) School of Nursing. You can choose either the 2/2 or the 2/3 option.

2/2

Complete a minimum of two years of study at the Greenville campus before spending a final two-year period in the clinical training at the college of nursing to which you are accepted to receive a bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) degree from the college where you complete your study.

3/1½ SIU-E

Biology majors may complete an accelerated three-year bachelor’s degree program in biology followed by an accelerated bachelor’s degree in nursing from SIU-E. Obtain both a bachelor of arts degree in biology and a bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) in four and a half years.

3/2 St. Johns

A three-two plan is available through St. John’s College of Nursing in which you complete Greenville’s general education requirements along with the pre-nursing curriculum before transferring to the nursing college. In five years, you earn a BSN degree from St. John’s College of Nursing and a BA degree with a major in biology from Greenville University.
