Scholarships are free money, typically connected to performance, be it academic, leadership or some other area. Check out our scholarship and grant offerings to help you calculate how much money your academic achievements will get you.
These scholarships and grants apply only to new students entering Greenville University's traditional, on-campus program during the current academic year. Institutional scholarships are available only to full-time students (enrolled for 12 or more credit hours per semester.)

Merit Based Scholarships
About Merit Based Scholarships
- Merit Scholarships cannot be stacked or combined with other GU merit based financial aid offerings
- The student can choose to accept or reject a scholarship based on receiving a larger scholarship like the McAllaster or Panther Preferred.
- The student must apply and be accepted through the regular admissions process.
- Some merit scholarships may require the student to live on campus.
- Students who make satisfactory academic progress and maintain good standing at GU may renew their scholarship.
- The student must be a degree-seeking student.
- The student must be enrolled full-time (minimum of 12 credit hours per semester).
- The combined total of GU scholarships, grants and other tuition related awards, such as MAP, may not exceed the cost of tuition.

Who's Eligible: Description: Greenville University has a rich heritage of empowering women for leadership. Sponsored by President Suzanne Davis, the Women in Leadership Scholarship is for those incoming female students (traditional freshman or transfer) who have had experience in leadership in their schools, communities, and churches, and desire to further their leadership development and experience at Greenville University. Greenville University will support the recipients with character-building and service-leadership programming, and awardees will meet on a regular basis for mentorship with President Suzanne Davis.
