GC Included in Top Midwest College Ranking by U.S. News & World Report

U.S. News & World Report ranked Greenville College among the top colleges in the region in their 2016 Regional Colleges (Midwest) report, ranking 35 on the list of 69 top-tier regional colleges.

Since U.S. News & World Reports 2015 ranking, several developments accomplished across campus are already expanding opportunities for GC students. The 2015-16 academic year marks the launch of several new academic programs including Game Design & Development, Exercise Science, Sport Management and Pre-Nursing as well as the Briner School of Business. This year also brings expanded athletic opportunities including Mens Volleyball and Cheerleading.

The 2016 U.S. News & World Report Best College rankings gather data on up to 16 indicators of academic excellence and ranked against peer colleges based on their composite weighted score. These factors include freshman retention, graduation rate, class size, student to faculty ratio and alumni giving rate. Each year, U.S. News & World Report ranks nearly 1,800 schools in several categories including: National Universities, National Liberal Arts Colleges, Regional Universities and Regional Colleges.

Greenville College is a four-year accredited Christian liberal arts school with more than 1,300 undergraduate and graduate students.Founded in 1892 and affiliated with theFree Methodist Church, the college is located in Greenville, Illinois, 45 miles east of St. Louis.
