Men's Soccer Earns a SLIAC Win in Iowa

MT. PLEASANT, Iowa--The Panthers traveled to Mt. Pleasant, Iowa to take on the Iowa Wesleyan Tigers. Greenville's Dillion Czech had three goals including the game winner.

Czech scored three for the Panthers and Jacob Krisher added another one for Greenville. Iowa Wesleyan was able to find the back of the net once and the game's final score was 4-1, GC.

"Today was a professional performance," Coach Chris Swift said. "We came in to get three points and that is what we got. We went through a lot this week and we learned a lot about ourselves and what we are capable of."

GC 'keeper, Ian McReynolds, was credited with the win.

Swift went on to commend Czech for his hat-trick performance. "I am really proud of Dillon, he worked hard all week and I knew he had this performance in him."

This win brings GC to a record of 3-7-3 (2-1 SLIAC). The Panthers take on MacMurray on Tuesday, October 15 at 5:00pm.
