Men's volleyball records another pair of wins

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The men's volleyball team picked up another two wins on Wednesday night as they treated a large crowd to 2-1 and 3-0 victories over Lincoln College.

In the first match of the evening, Greenville jumped out to a two set lead and fell in the third as they recorded a three-set 25-17, 25-18, 23-25 victory.

Daniel Bilinski continued his solid play with a team-leading 13 kills, eight service aces, and 12 digs.

Andrew Johnson tallied eight kills and two block assists in contributing nine points.

Tanner Smith provided 33 assists.

The first match was clearly the warmup to the evening's second contest as Greenville's first team battled Lincoln to a straight sets win in the night cap. Greenville won 25-20, 25-19, 25-21.

Adding starter Johnny Milabu to the mix, Greenville received 10 kills from Bilinski and nine from Milabu.

Smith totaled 30 assists, and Bilinski had three service aces.

Defensively, Peter Binder chipped in nine digs, and Kyle Ward posted two solo blocks and three block assists.

The Panthers (4-0) host Hannibal-La Grange on Saturday, Jan. 30, at 7 p.m.
