Women's Basketball Dropped by Westminster

FULTON, Mo. -- The women's basketball team got 16 points from senior Emily Gundy, but it wasn't enough as Westminster took an 81-71 victory.
The Lady Panthers shot 50 percent from the field but were outshot behind the three point line and charity stripe as Westminster hit 12-of-18 three-pointers and 17-of-19 free throws. Greenville was also hurt by 23 turnovers.
Miranda Murray came off the bench for Greenville to put in 13 ponts on the evening.
Claire Schmitt had five assists.
The Lady Panthers (7-12, 4-8 SLIAC) travel to Blackburn on Saturday for a game at 1 p.m.
