Dewayne Neeley

I have spent more than 20 years in higher education, including 14 years leading the dual credit program at Western Kentucky University. In that role, I helped expand access to a WKU education for high school students across Kentucky and beyond through online learning. Since 2019, I have returned to my alma mater, Greenville University, where I focus on alumni relations, church engagement, philanthropy, and advancement—work rooted in building relationships and furthering GU’s mission.

My career reflects a strong background in relationship-building across both academic management and advancement. At Western Kentucky, I worked closely with admissions, the registrar, and marketing, as well as high school teachers and counselors statewide. I have been active in professional organizations, including the Kentucky Association for Continuing Higher Education, the Association for Continuing Higher Education, and the National Alliance for Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships.

At Greenville University, I oversee alumni engagement, donor connections, and church partnerships, supported by platforms such as Raiser’s Edge and Banner. My experience also includes managing social media for WKU’s dual credit program and GU’s alumni association. Ongoing professional development has included conferences and training with Gonser Gerber, as well as regular participation in advancement webinars. I am deeply rooted in the Free Methodist Church, serving on church and conference boards and committees.
