I am a passionate accounting educator with more than a decade of experience in higher education. I began teaching at Greenville University in 2016 and am currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration in Accounting at Anderson University, where I expect to graduate in 2026. I also hold an MBA from Anderson University and dual bachelor’s degrees in accounting and business management from Greenville University.
My teaching philosophy centers on making complex topics accessible and engaging through experiential learning. I use simulations, case studies, and client-based projects to bridge theory and practice while incorporating tools such as Power BI and Excel to build real-world data analytics skills. My classroom approach emphasizes clarity, connection, and creativity—helping students develop both technical competence and professional confidence.
My areas of expertise include financial and managerial accounting, taxation, and data analytics integration. I am especially passionate about helping students see the connection between faith, integrity, and the ethical responsibilities of the accounting profession.
