Special Education Endorsement (LBS1)

Special Education Endorsement at Greenville University

If you’re a valid Professional Educator License (PEL) teacher, you can earn a concurrently valid Special Education endorsement, also known as Learning Behavior Specialist 1. Enhance your teaching skills and advance your career in the high-demand field of special education. This summer, Greenville University’s GET SET (Summer Endorsements for Teachers) program offers convenient online classes toward endorsement. The curriculum is conveniently online and is taught by passionate faculty.

A prerequisite to the endorsement is the completion of an Exceptional Child course. The endorsement also requires successful completion of the LBS 1 content area test.

The endorsement coursework can be applied toward a master's in Special Education at Greenville University.
