Experience Hub

The Experience Institute aligns physical space with strategy and mission through the Student Experience Hub and the Experience Learning Lab.

The Student Experience Hub is focused on one thing: serving students.

Students are greeted at the Student Service Center desk when they enter the door. Hub personnel are ready to answer any question and are here to help.

“Where can I schedule courses?"
"Where should my parents stay when they visit?"
"Where can I find a Band-Aid?”

The Hub is a one-stop shop for the student experience. Students can find information and meet with staff from the offices of Community Life, Career Services, Student Success, Residence Life, Diversity and Inclusion, Student Programs/Activities, Student Leadership, and Experiential Education.

When you visit the Hub, you will find the new Experience Learning Lab (ELL)

The ELL’s thoughtful design focuses on the interplay between design psychology and brain science to create an optimal learning environment. In doing so, GU is aligning physical space with its strategy for experiential learning.

The ELL offers a space for every type of learner and includes:

• Transitional classroom – with the roll-up door, the classroom can go from a space of 25 to 100.
• Student Co-Working area
• The Cube: All Whiteboard Cube
• The Think Tank: A sensory-friendly space with deep-pressure items, sensory-friendly toys, and flexible seating
• The Treehouse: Sets the tone by Inspiring creativity and childlike curiosity.
