Rain will not deter the celebration of Greenville University graduates. Together, we bless them as they carry forward all they have learned and experienced, launching as image-bearers of a loving God and people of character and service in the world.

 

ADJUSTED GRADUATION WEEKEND SCHEDULE

If the forecast indicates a significant likelihood of rain for Saturday, a decision to move the ceremony indoors will be made on Thursday, May 7. Students will receive communication that day confirming any changes and identifying which ceremony they will attend.

This proactive timeline allows families and guests to plan with confidence while ensuring the celebration remains meaningful, prepared, and centered on each graduate’s achievement.

In the event of rain, two indoor ceremonies will be held in HJ Long Gym:

9:00 a.m.

  • Division of Humanities
  • Division of Math and Science
  • Division of Professional Studies

1:00 p.m.

  • Division of Education and Social Sciences
