Medical Biology at Greenville University
The Medical Biology major at Greenville University prepares students with a strong foundation in biology and the sciences while completing the coursework needed to pursue a career in healthcare. Designed for students interested in nursing and other medical professions, the program combines scientific knowledge with hands-on learning and a Christian approach to caring for others. Students complete the required pre-nursing coursework as part of the major, providing a strong academic foundation for continued study in nursing and other healthcare fields.
Students pursuing the Medical Biology major must complete all pre-nursing requirements, whether they plan to take nursing courses through Greenville University or through our partnership with Goldfarb College of Nursing. Students who complete their nursing coursework through a partnership program may have the opportunity to pursue a dual degree, earning a bachelor of arts in biology from Greenville University and a bachelor of science in nursing (BSN).
