BIO BRIEF
Andrea Andris currently serves as an Assistant Professor of English and Education at GU. She taught in public secondary education and at Southern New Hampshire University from 2002-2011. At this point, Andrea felt the call into vocational Children’s and Family Ministry in Nashua, NH (2011-2021) and then in Greenville, IL (2021-2023). She is excited to be back in academia by joining the faculty of GU, as teaching is one of her greatest passions!
Andrea strives to live a life worthy of her calling as a Christ-follower, giving her all for His glory! She has been married to her husband, Nathan, since 2002, and together, they have two amazing children – Aidan and Braelyn. She is a true foodie at heart but she also loves reading, drinking coffee, traveling, bike-riding, and spending time with friends and family.
EDUCATION
Andrea received a bachelor’s degree in Bible & Theology (BA) and ELL certification from Lincoln Christian University and a bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Middle Grades Education (BS) from Illinois State University in 2002. She then pursued her master’s degree in education from Lesley University (Cambridge, MA) in 2005.
