Anna Murphy

Hi, I’m Anna Murphy, and I serve as the Director of Traditional Admissions at Greenville University. I joined the GU community in 2024, returning to a place that helped shape my own journey in higher education.

I earned my B.S. in Secondary Education from Greenville University in 2021 and later completed my M.A. in English at Eastern Illinois University in 2024. Before stepping into admissions, I taught high school English, an experience that continues to shape how I connect with students today.

In my current role, I care deeply about building meaningful relationships and walking alongside students as they navigate one of the most important transitions of their lives. I believe every student has a story worth telling, and it’s a privilege to help them discover where their next chapter may lead.

A Scripture that grounds and guides me is Galatians 2:20: “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
