About

Gang Wang, Ph.D. in Physics, is the Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics and Engineering. Before GU, He served as the Technology Engineer in the field of Logistics Services in Canada. He has substantial experiences in Machine Learning, Databases and Artificial Intelligence. He has 3 kids and a dog and likes to travel globally.

Education

He received his Bachelor’s degree in Physics from China West Normal University and a Master’s degree in Optics from Fudan University in China. He was awarded a Master’s degree and a dual Ph.D. degree in Physics at the University of Missouri. He was dedicated to the computational study of Hydrogen storage materials at the University of Missouri. His interests are AI and Computational studies in GU.
