BIO BRIEF
Growing up, Grant aspired to become a magician, performing the occasional magic act. During grade school, he played soccer and cricket and joined the high school band, playing various brass instruments. While attending university, he played table tennis and tennis. He enjoys traveling (both domestically and overseas) and trying out different types of food from various cultures. Today, he enjoys playing pickleball, tennis, golf, and hiking.
EDUCATION
Grant Trudel is an Associate Professor and Program Director of Computer Information Systems at Greenville University’s Department of Engineering within the College of Arts and Sciences. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Mathematics from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, a Master’s degree in Applied Information Technology from Bellarmine University, and a Doctor of Computer Science from Colorado Technical University.
With extensive experience as a full-time programmer across various platforms, Grant has also served as an adjunct faculty member at multiple Christian institutions. He is dedicated to crafting high-quality code and mentoring aspiring programmers and professionals to foster a secure, innovative technical environment rooted in Christ-centered values.
