Josiah Shuffett

Hi, I’m Josiah Shuffett, and I serve as the Esports Director while also working as part of the Enrollment team at Greenville University. I joined the GU community in 2021 and have loved helping students find both their place on campus and their competitive edge.

I studied Business Management and Theology at Asbury University before coming to Greenville, and I am currently completing my master’s degree in Management at GU. My background in management and recruitment shapes the way I lead the Esports program—with both structure and flexibility in mind.

In my role, I focus on building a culture of trust, delegation, and student empowerment. I believe the best teams are formed when students are given ownership, encouragement, and the space to pursue excellence together.
