Michael Aden is an adjunct professor of Project Management within the Greenville University engineering department and serves on the Engineering Board. Mike received his bachelor’s in mining engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and his MBA from Washington University. His past work experience includes five years with Greenville University in a variety of strategic project and operations management roles, two years as Director of Process Excellence for BJC Healthcare, eleven years of service with Missouri Enterprise (NIST MEP organization) as a lean sigma manufacturing and product design consultant, and two and half years with Schutt Manufacturing (sporting goods manufacturer) as Engineering and Quality Manager. Other experience includes new venture launches, civil engineering consulting, and production and staff engineering for underground and surface coal mining operations in Pennsylvania & New Mexico.
Mike is also an ordained pastor in the Free Methodist Church and served seven years as the Solid Rock Free Methodist Church lead pastor. He strategically transitioned the church to Latino ministry before joining Greenville University. He is currently Associate Pastor with The Bridge Free Methodist Church and chairs the Board of Administration for the Gateway Conference of the Free Methodist Church.
