For 12 of those years, he was an adjunct professor in the Commercial Music Department at Malone University in Canton, Ohio. Paul’s former students include members of the Grammy nominated, 2x Dove Award Winning band, Relient K. Paul was also adjunct faculty at Mount Union College in Alliance, Ohio.
Paul has performed full-time as a professional musician. He has led and coached bands in multiple arenas, written several worship songs and spoken at music industry and denominational seminars on music and worship in the church.
Paul has a contagious passion for worship, both personally and corporately, as well as an earnest desire to see spiritual formation in students who are going to lead future congregations. Paul asserts his calling: “I love working with college students, where over and over again I see a total transformation of their skills, understanding, and approach to leading worship. My calling is to take my knowledge and my experience and to mentor and shape both the theology and the musicianship of future leaders in the church. I am so proud to be a part of Greenville University’s incredible environment that shapes students for service to God’s people.”
