Ric Robbins, BBA

BIO BRIEF

Originally from Cincinnati, I now live just outside of Nashville, Tennessee, with my wife, Gaby, and three children (Maya, Quinn, and Shayne). I've been in the music business for my entire career.

I love watching movies with my family, playing with our dogs, and working out in my free time. We love all things Disney, Star Wars, Marvel, and Lord of the Rings.

EDUCATION

I graduated from Belmont University with a degree in Music Business.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Early in my career, I toured as a DJ with the Christian Hip-Hop group Grits. I also co-wrote and produced most of their music, including the platinum single "Ooh Ahh (My Life Be Like)." I toured for several years with dcTalk and TobyMac and for four years with Kelly Clarkson as part of her band. I have also taught as an adjunct at Belmont University for five years.

WHY I WORK AT CMC NASHVILLE

I work at GU through CMC Nashville because God allowed me to have so many amazing experiences and learn so much in my career as a musician, DJ, producer, and businessman that it is time for me to pass that on to the next generation and leave a legacy.
