Student Services Coordinator and PDSO • Student Life
Sadie was welcomed to GU in September 2020. She serves as a Student Services Coordinator and Principal Designated School Official (PDSO). She has over three years of experience in the immigration field and has had the privilege of working with a diverse population of students. She advises F-1 international students on immigration regulations and liaises between students, the University, and federal agencies. She also administers various student success services, such as ADA accommodations, and facilitates student success strategies through teaching and programming.
She is an active member of AHEAD (Association on Higher Education and Disability) and a current member of the International Education Council of Missouri and Illinois (IECMI). Sadie holds a Master of Science in Education (M.S. Ed.) with an emphasis in Higher Education and Student Affairs and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Sociology, both from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
Sadie's passion for helping students stems from her sincere commitment to their success and her dedication to being called to serve. She strongly emphasizes creating a supportive and inclusive environment through courageous care, empowering students, and fostering intrinsic motivation inside and outside the classroom.
