Whitney Root

Hello! I’m Whitney Root, and I joined Greenville University in November 2025 as an Admissions Representative. I love getting to know prospective students and helping them navigate the admissions process with confidence and clarity. Building relationships is the heart of what I do, and I’m passionate about creating an encouraging environment where everyone feels valued, supported, and truly heard.

I graduated from Tuscola Community High School in 2019 and later earned my bachelor’s degree in Communication from Lee University in May 2023. My background has equipped me with strong interpersonal and communication skills, which I use every day as I connect with future Panthers and walk alongside them during this exciting season of decision-making.

My favorite verse, which guides my work and my life, is:

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” — Proverbs 3:5–6
