I began my college journey in 1971 and continued my formal education through 1995, a pursuit that shaped both my professional path and my belief in lifelong learning. I hold a B.S. in Microbiology from The Ohio State University and completed my RN training at Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati. I later earned my Registered Vascular Ultrasound Technologist credential and became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). I am still learning to this day.
I have served as a strength and conditioning coach since 1995, working at the University of Cincinnati and Xavier University, and coaching at the high school level for more than 20 years. My background in medicine gives me a unique perspective on athletic development, allowing me to integrate health sciences with performance training to help athletes grow stronger, safer, and more prepared for competition. I have also volunteered with Greenville University football for over a decade.
My favorite Scripture is Matthew 6:25–34, a reminder to trust in God’s provision and remain focused on what truly matters.
