Presentations will spotlight the leadership and legacy of women who shaped Greenville University. From the founding of Almira College for Women to the rise of women’s athletics, each presentation offers a unique glimpse into the lasting impact of these trailblazers.

Event Schedule:

  • 8:30 a.m. – Coffee & pastries (Grotts Conference Room)

  • 9:00 a.m. – Project Overview (Wilson Recital Hall)

  • 9:30 a.m. – Presentations:

    • Almira Morse & Elizabeth White (Luzader)

    • Dr. Elva McAllaster & Harriette Whiteman (Wilson Recital Hall)
  • 10:30 a.m. – Presentations:

    • Dr. Mary Tenney (Luzader)

    • Ruby E. Dare (Wilson Recital Hall)
  • 11:30 a.m. – Presentations:

    • June Strahl & Phyllis Holmes (Luzader)

    • Mary LaDue (Wilson Recital Hall)

The Whitlock Building (formerly the Free Methodist Church) is the venue for these presentations. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the complimentary coffee and pastries.

This special Homecoming event provides a moment to reflect on the contributions of Greenville University’s remarkable women while also enjoying the warmth of fellowship and delicious refreshments.
