GC Women's Tennis Defeated by Richard Stockton

Published: April 13, 2021

The Panthers took on the Stockton Ospreys Wednesday and were shutout 0-9. Despite the unfortunate score, the ladies are improving their team chemistry and hope to continue getting better as their Hilton Head tour continues.

No. 7 singles Jenna Rients lost a heartbreaking 8 game pro set 7-9 and played the best she has so far this season. Chelsie Evans and Kristen Lynch also played well winning 4 and 3 games respectively.

In doubles, the No. 1 team of Harling and Minshall won three games and the No. 3 team of Evans and Lynch won two games. The team is clearly improving their game and it will be exciting to see where they are at the end of Spring Break.

The women will play again on Thursday against Ohio Wesleyan. They continue their Hilton Head tour and hope to continue improving individually and as a team.
