Greenville College Acquires Former Bond County Health Department

Thanks to an anonymous donor, Greenville College will take possession of the property formerly used as the Bond County Health Department at 503 S. Prairie St in Greenville, Ill.

Located just four blocks south of campus, the property offers ready to use office space and will require minimal renovation for the college to begin use. The donation not only benefits Greenville College, but assists the health department and the community by bringing purpose back to a vacant building in town.

"This donation is a great chance for Greenville College to assist another non-profit organization in town while adding much needed office space to our campus," explained President Linamen. "It is a generous and unexpected gift that we plan to make the most of; we are very thankful."

Once Greenville College has determined that the property is structurally sound and passes all necessary inspections, plans will be made to occupy the property.
