I have served for more than 25 years as an advancement professional, holding leadership roles in five nonprofit organizations. I retired from my position as Vice President for Advancement at Greenville University in 2019. Prior to moving into advancement, I directed the Academic Enrichment Center and taught in the English Department at Greenville, following 10 years of teaching high school English.
I earned the Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) credential in 2009 and have conducted extensive research on women’s philanthropy and best practices in advancement. I have presented at multiple national conferences and served as a consultant to nonprofit organizations across the nation.
My years of service at Greenville span several seasons—1985–2000, 2015–2019, and 2020–2025 (part-time).
