I serve as professor of digital media and business law at Greenville University, where I combine my love for the creative arts and the law through experiential, hands-on learning. I joined GU in 2016 and am passionate about mentoring students as they develop their professional skills and personal callings.
I am a licensed attorney with a Juris Doctor from Northern Illinois University and was admitted to the Illinois Bar in May 2024. I also hold a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Leadership from Roosevelt University and a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Arts from Columbia College Chicago. Before law school, I chaired the art and design department at Robert Morris University and served for many years in digital media education. In 2021, I began working at Land of Lincoln Legal Aid, providing services to underserved communities.
My teaching philosophy centers on learning by doing. Whether through mock trials, film festivals, or service-learning projects, I encourage students to engage deeply and think critically about the intersection of creativity, justice, and calling.
