Music is an important part of our community at GU, and students from all majors can find ways to perform. Join one of our bands or groups to get connected and build lasting relationships.

The Blackroom

Our on-campus music venue, The Blackroom, hosts an open mic night every Tuesday. Students perform, run sound, and organize events for The Blackroom year-round. Check out a Blackroom performance.

Choir

The GU choir tours annually to national and international destinations. Students from various majors sing in our choir, and students boast of the bond between choir members.

Pursuit

Join a Pursuit worship band to perform on campus and locally. Spend a summer leading worship by auditioning for the summer traveling Pursuit band.

Join the Lab Bands course to create your own band, perform original music or covers, and find opportunities to perform.
