- Assist with creating or updating donor databases and tracking tools
- Contribute to the writing and design of donor-facing materials such as brochures, emails, social media content, and thank-you notes
- Support outreach efforts including mailings, follow-ups, and invitations to events
- Collaborate with the committee on possible donor appreciation events or campaigns
- Coordinate with the GU Development Office (if applicable) to ensure alignment with university policies and opportunities
Qualifications
- Interest in fundraising, relationship-building, or arts/nonprofit management
- Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic familiarity with spreadsheets or CRM tools is a plus, but not required
- Professionalism, creativity, and initiative are highly valued
- Currently enrolled in or completed coursework in business, marketing, nonprofit leadership, or a related field (preferred, but not required)
What You’ll Gain
- Practical experience with fundraising strategy and donor engagement
- A portfolio of work samples including campaign language, benefit structures, and promotional materials
- Deeper understanding of nonprofit development within a creative community setting
- Opportunities to contribute ideas and see them implemented in a live campaign
- Valuable networking with theatre leaders and university stakeholders
- Potential academic credit (if arranged through a university)
