All Scholarships & Grants

At Greenville University, every traditional undergraduate student accepted to the university automatically receives a merit award. The amount of your merit award will fluctuate based on your GPA and certain other factors.

For students entering Greenville University in the fall semester of 2024, follow these steps toward maximum scholarship:

STEP ONE:  apply to Greenville University and gain acceptance. You will receive an automatic merit scholarship between $16,000 - $20,000.
STEP TWO:  consider applying for a leadership or academic scholarship ranging from $1,500 - $4,000.
STEP THREE:  Fill out the FAFSA.  GU's school code is 001684. Once you submit your FAFSA and know what you will receive in additional aid and state and federal grants, you can compete or audition for an additional membership scholarship. These membership scholarships range from $500 to $2000 annually.
STEP FOUR: Join us for our ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP DAY COMPETITION on FEBRUARY 16, 2024 for a chance to secure a full-tuition scholarship.  Everyone who attends will receive additional scholarship dollars. To attend scholarship day, you must apply to GU and be accepted by February 5, 2024.
STEP FIVE:  Explore our membership scholarships.
STEP SIX: Come to SCHOLARSHIP DAY on February 16, 2024
When you attend SCHOLARSHIP DAY or an official Greenville Admissions-sponsored visit before attending New Student Orientation at Greenville University, you will receive an additional $500 VISIT GRANT per year for up to 4 years of attending Greenville University.

The Visit Grant is renewable each year you’re an undergraduate student at GU, for up to four years. If you attend GU for four years, you will receive the $500 grant four times. The Visit Grant stacks onto other financial aid you receive from GU.
