Transformation is evident

Jane Bell
Assistant Professor
Business Department

In 2008, Jane Bell joined the GC community as an adjunct professor in the Business Department and was hired as a full-time faculty member in 2014. She is very excited about the focus within the Briner School of Business to teach students how to be people of character and service in the workplace within the industry of their interest.

Jane requires each of her students to meet with her to check-in. She wants to know her students and help them discover their passions.

Bell, and all the Briner School of Business faculty, continue to find new ways to blend experiential, hands-on projects and classroom learning to provide students a broad array of opportunities to build their knowledge and talents. Mentoring Experience First teams allows Bell to guide students in real-world work situations.

She is also thrilled to teach sport management courses, as well as business courses, which combines her love of sports and business. Professor Bell is the Faculty Athletic Representative and the recipient of the W. Richard Stevens Outstanding Faculty Award for 2021.

Bell believes "the college years are an amazing time of discovery for our students. Students are uncovering and developing their love for a major, their God-given talents, and their leadership skills. I teach a number of freshmen and when they graduate from Greenville University three years later, the change in their lives is so apparent. What a privilege and joy it is to be part of their journeys."
