The human biology minor educates students on fundamental aspects of human biology, considering Anatomy and Physiology and Genetics, which are built on a foundation of biology and chemistry.
Students are also introduced to the structure and function of the body, as well as the principles of genetics that control heredity.
For students interested in working in fields related to or interfacing with health care and community health, this minor complements:
- Psychology
- Criminal Justice
- Social Work
- Business
Students majoring in Biology cannot enroll in this minor as it is a subset of courses required by the biology major.
