Employers look at quite a few things in a college graduate, but some attributes are a little more critical than others. They include:

Communication (effective teamwork)

Writing skills (a part of communication)

The ability to make decisions

The ability to think critically

The knowledge gained in college

The liberal arts aspect of the education

Leadership experience and skills

Problem-solving skills

Do these results surprise you? Your GPA matters, but so do all of the experiences and knowledge you gained during your time at college. While you're in school, try to always stay involved. Shoot for the harder roles in an organization, such as the president, vice president, or secretary. Leadership is always valued by those who are evaluating you for your work-force readiness. Even if you never get selected for these roles, just being a part of activities will look great on a resume and help you further along your walk. The commitment will also show up in these choices, which is something else that employers love to hear.

The first impressions are always said to be important because of the decisions that employers make rather quickly. Researching how you can be a better candidate for a particular position and getting a lot of practice will help you prepare for your interview.

Greenville University is a liberal arts institute where you will be exposed to multiple methods that will stretch your thinking and knowledge. You can be prepared spiritually, professionally and intellectually. With whatever job you plan to pursue, the Christian values you'll be exposed to here will grow and prepare you.
